Posted by socialrank in : Articles , trackbackWho knew so many chic people liked “24“? On the other hand, who knew that anyone actually read Men’s Vogue? The two worlds combined late last week as the publication hosted a season premiere screening of a Golden Globe nominated show. Anna Wintour made a brief appearance as did prominent couples like Aby and Samantha Rosen, Eric Zinterhofer and Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer, Tommy Hilfiger and Dee Ocleppo and Rachel Roy and Damon Dash (who won the Silver Spoon for best Couple earlier that day). The guests like Sophie Dahl, Lauren Dupont and Lucy Sykes enjoyed the Core Club drinks, appetizers and chatted up the star of the show - Kiefer Sutherland.

Love her or hate her, you have to admit that Anna Wintour always looks gorgeous with her doe like features. Lauren Dupont also looks consistentely great but I am getting of the overexpose, overly botoxed and brow lifte Sykes sisters. The both look somewhat “hollow” and plain like there is something missing on their faces. Tory Burch is starting to look middle aged.
At last…Eric Zinterhofer actually photographed with his wife, Aerin. Now if he could make an effort and put his arm around her…just maybe they’d be a real couple.
Hmmm, with Ronald Lauder non-executive chairman of Central European Media Enterprises, I wonder if Eric Zinterhofer, Aerin Lauder’s husband, feels a little like Chris Wilton (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers) in Woody Allen’s Match Point.

I am in complete agreement with #1/’D'`s comment. Who else could look so utterly impeccable? Not to mention, so flawlessly coordinated - from her highly flattering hair color, right down to her exquisite boots? Sartorial genius. Undeniable beauty. Were that more ladies would take a literal page from this inestimable woman, and shrewd fashion icon… (Sigh)

Does anyone have insight about the state of Aerin and Eric Z’s marriage? He seems stiff and they don’t have a certain passionate spark though they’ve been married for well over a decade and are surely exhausted by their high powered careers and child rearing not to mention travling to the Hamptons, Palm Beach etc.?
Why did Ronald and Aerin Mother divorced.. she seemed to have disappear. Jane seems to be the same way
I guess Tory did not get Larry Creel.. The vanity fair article all but inferred an affair but backed off.
Are Jennifer and Larry back together then?
tory burch is a homewrecker whore. Jennifer gets my full support to return from her little hiding. I would love to see her around again.

And Eric probably doesn’t want to touch Aerin when she wears that frigid b*tch face. A sincere smile would be nice once in a while.
Although I like Aerin’s style, I find her face somewhat plain. This is quite striking, given that she is a princess of the cosmetic industry. Her husband is quite attractive !
Also, I like DuPont face, but she dresses sometimes in this North European “peasant”-style …

Men’s Vogue is the sorriest excuse for a magazine. I give it a year before it’s gone.

I think Anna Wintour always looks so immpecable. I like that she has her own style and knows what looks good on her and doesn’t look trendy.
I always find it interesting that Aerin Lauder works for a cosmetics company because it never looks like she’s wearing any. Could she swipe on a little lip gloss. Jeez.

And I happen to enjoy Men’s Vogue. They always have so many interesting and intelligent articles but that may be the problem. There aren’t that many interesting and intelligent men in America to subscibe to the mag.
