Jessica is Boring in Many Ways January 31, 2007

Jessica Joffe has never been a mainstream socialite. But usually less than mainstream individuals tend to be a bit more exciting. In her very recent New York magazine questionnaire spotlight feature, the redhead reveals that she “mostly, writes”, worries the whole day, can’t really point to her favorite medicine and imagines high-priced artworks to be hanging above her couch. In other words, she’s a bit out there and here are Jessica’s dubious highlights.
Who’s your favorite New Yorker, living or dead, real or fictional? Patrick Bateman.
In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job? Worry and make tea. In reverse order.
Where do you get your coffee? My kitchen.
What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway? Several rats, enormous; one dove, white; and cabs, yellow.
How often do you prepare your own meals? Often enough.
What’s your favorite medication? Why pick favourites?
What’s hanging above your sofa? My imaginary collection of Saul Steinberg watercolours and one de Kooning Woman.

Oh I am sorry I responded too quickly…
What’s your thread count?
That’s none of your business.
What? Ugh. I never really had a problem with her until now.
