Today is Monday and most fashion VIP’s are still barely recovering from this very eventful New York fashion week. For the first time ever, the record number of 12 socialites have received an approval mark of 40 or higher from our judges and also this period marks the first time that no girl has retained the ranking from the previous judgments. Everyone has new position on the list. The last two weeks of worrying about sitting assignments for Carolina, Gilles and Vera, designing their own collections, attending in some cases up to eight events a day, changing in their town car in front of their Polish drivers have finally come to end. Few socials are flying to Paris in a few weeks and many are already finalizing their Rachel Roy outfits for tomorrow’s big AMNH Gala event. We have experienced socialite bloggers, socialite models, Travota Romanian socialite “royalty” with cats, front row drama, Page Six cover stories and we can proudly say our girls are most definitely more famous than ever. And the year has just started.
Each of the 12 judges evaluated the contenders in four categories with all numbers averaged to come up with the total power ranking:
- The personal styles and designer relations (1-20 pts)
- Press coverage in major publications and gossip columns (10 pts)
- Appearances and commitment to events (10pts)
- Hot factor- what makes each of the individuals sizzle with personality (10 pts)
