With a continued commitment to join fun and philanthropy in our efforts to save the base between first and third, The Pink Agenda (formerly known as Saving Second Base) invites you to its Annual Spring Gala on Thursday, May 15. Join us for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and a keynote speech and book signing by breast cancer survivor and Cancer Vixen author Marisa Acocella Marchetto.
While our name has changed, our mission has not... we remain as committed as ever to engaging today's generation to find tomorrow's cure. This event is no exception, and it has taken on an even greater significance as we honor Lisa Mae Lee, the mother of The Pink Agenda founder Marisa Renee, who recently succumbed to the disease that we're striving to eradicate. She has served as—and will always be—our inspiration.
We'll start the night off at Twenty Four Fifth, and we'll follow it up with an after party in celebration of our new name (and, let's face it, because we never like our parties to end) at People Lounge. For more information and to purchase tickets, check out the attached invitation and visit www.thepinkagenda.org.
Our agenda is to raise money, awareness, and hell on May 15. Feel free to put it on your agenda, as well.
