Recently published on Vogue.com, Ben Fink Shapiro’s work taps the genres of fashion, portraiture, and narrative photography. Highlighting the inherent personality traits and body rhythms of each individual subject, he reveals layers of reality and mesmerizing fiction. Ben grounds his work in strong formal values of composition and color. In effect, his photos represent the ongoing effort to capture and amplify moments of visual allure and intrigue. The world through his lens appears impossibly chic, deliciously seductive, downright funny, and subtly bizarre. Ben received a bachelors degree in Media Studies from Vassar College.
