Carrie Elston is an artist who makes sculpture and paintings that explore the metamorphosis of psychological and emotional states. Elston graduated from Yale University in 2003 and is currently getting her MFA at Hunter College. She has had solo shows at Soho House, Novare, and WeAr Gallery, and has participated in shows at : Dinter Fine Art, Gallery 384, Rare Gallery, Momenta Art, Sideshow Gallery, Atlantic Gallery, Weave Gallery, and RE: Monumenta; Project One. In addition to her studies, Elston spends her time writing for a website called Mapcidy.com about NY arts and culture.
