Suzanne " AFRICA" Engo is an African born, American and British Bred /Activist Personality/ Producer, she currently is the ceo of girl behind the camera productions aswell as the executive director of the new york AIDS film festival & museum which she does in collaboration with the United Nations. Speaking of the United Nations, suzanne africa often times called " UN BRAT" is the daughter of His Excellency Judge Paul Bamela Engo ( former UN ambassador of Cameroon to the United Nations) and current International Court Justice and Her Excellency Dr Ruth Bamela Engo ( former Senior Advisor on Africa to the former Secretary General of the United Nations Kofi Annan) and Currently Executive Director of African Action on AIDS. Suzanne is also a member of the THE ENGO GROUP a private financial holding with real estate and business development projects in africa as well as media and charity holdings in the Europe and America. Suzanne splits her time between New York , Rome and Africa Offices. Her family splits their time between NY , GERMANY and CAMEROON. Miss Engo works with numerous celebrities on their philanthropic missions and has collaborated with famers such as Christiane Amanpour, Lucy Liu, Tea Leoni Josh Lucas, Ashley Judds foundation YOUTH AIDS, Aubrey O'day, Tinsley Mortimer, Luigi Tadini, Marc Bouwer, Luca Orlandi, EVE, Lauren Bush, Maggie Rizer, Alex Kerry and many Ambassadors to the United Nations and also groups including MTV, HBO, LIVE EARTH, YOUTH AIDS, MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION and more.... Engo was named one of the TOP 40 YOUTH AIDS ACTIVISTS by MTV and the KAiser Family Foundation her picture, name and bio appeared in Times Square on the MTV Jumbotron with the others for 24 hours on World AIDS Day.
