JOVOVICH-HAWK DOES L.A.: Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk launched their resort collection in Hollywood on Monday at Ivar Studios, which has been rechristened The Stoli Hotel for the month. "Usually only buyers get to see this collection in a dark showroom, so we thought it would be fun to make it into a party," said Jovovich, adding the inspiration for the collection is "Valley of the Dolls-meets-Blondie." Models atop a raised stage danced in black, gold, electric blue and forest green cocktail dresses. Jovovich, who just entered her second trimester of pregnancy, wasn't able to partake of the Russian cocktails on offer. She was, however, still able to fit into a fall sample. "I've gained 25 pounds, but I think some of these new dresses actually lend themselves to a baby bump," she said. "They're fitted, but they show it off really well."

HOLE IN ONE: John Pomerantz convinced 136 golfers to turn out Tuesday for the third annual Fashion Institute of Technology Golf Classic 2007 at the Quaker Ridge Country Club in Scarsdale, N.Y. The outing raised $310,000 for FIT's Educational Development Fund (beating last year's $267,000), which will go toward the school's laboratory equipment and upkeep of necessities.

Besides Pomerantz, those who played hookey from work included Stephen Sadove, Ron Frasch, Robert Skinner, Abby Doneger, Gilbert Harrison, Richard Beckman, Larry Leeds and David Chu, as well as Laura Pomerantz and Susan Sokol, who comprised half of the only female foursome.
