DOUBLE DUTY: Model Erin Wasson will be really styling next week. The Texas-born 25-year-old is the stylist for Alexander Wang's Sept. 6 show, but that doesn't mean she will be missing out on show coverage. Wang has lined up an exclusive so that Wasson's behind-the-scenes moves will be well-documented. But she's not the only catwalker moonlighting. The night before Alek Wek will read from her memoir "Alek: From the Streets of the Sudan to the Runways of Milan and New York" at Barnes & Noble's Sixth Avenue store. Wek will also be on hand Tuesday morning at the Empire State Building for the lighting ceremony signaling Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Sasha Pivovarova, Tracy Reese and Fern Mallis will also help pull the switch, illuminating the landmark in orange, purple and red.

CHILD'S PLAY: Lela Rose has teamed up with Quinny Buzz to create a limited edition Thumbprint Collection stroller and Dreami bassinet, which will hit specialty stores Saturday Rose's children Grey and Rosey helped out with the designs — their thumbprints were used for a print that adorns the $1,000 stroller and the $400 bassinet.
