"That's the only song [of hers] I know," Stella McCartney related. "She just asked me how many she should play and I said 'Gauge the room, if everyone's cleared, you'll know it's time to stop!'" Soko's debut album is slated for release next year.

SLICE OF PI: After two years of working with Fox on a project for a film based on the best-selling "Life of Pi," French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, best known for "Amelie," is moving on. "The studios are complicated," he said at the Rue du Mail by Martine Sitbon show Friday, adding Fox decided to temporarily shelf "Pi" over budget concerns. So what's next for Jeunet? "I'm going to do a French film," he said. "Something very funny, between 'Amelie' and 'Delicatessen.'"
