The next series of Love Island is a year away, and while we may be catching our breath from the goings on during this season, the amount of people that have already applied to be on next year’s show is nothing short of staggering.
Filming for the next series maybe 10 months away, but in just one week, over 25,000 people have already applied to get into the villa for next season. There were 85,000 applications for this year’s season –this year’s application requests are on track to smash those figures through the roof.
It’s not hard to understand why applications are up. This year’s islanders have talked about how much money they’re making in following their newfound reality TV fame and that kind of money is temping for anyone.
The show smashed all of its existing viewing records, with an average of 3.6 million viewers tuning in when Jack and Dani were crowned the winners.
With that type of viewership, and the money you can make by appearing on the show, expect the 25,000 applicants as of now to go through the roof.
So, are you going to apply?
