As the new series of The Apprentice gear’s up to kick off, Shameless star Sarah Byrne has been confirmed as one of the contestants for 2018.
As always, Lord Sugar will be looking for his next business partner and the former glamour model turned actress is in the running to be just that.
As an actress, Sarah is best known for her role as Meena Karib in the TV series Shameless from 2008 to 2009. And if her if her ‘Meet the candidates’video is anything to go by, she’s coming in to win the show and is not messing around.
Sarah also owns the Sarah Byrne Acting Academy so she’s no stranger to making business decisions. By all accounts she’s not afraid to tell you what’s on her mind either, she said: “If I have a problem with you I’m gonna tell you.’ She adds: ‘I am me, I don’t have a posh accent or pretend to be anyone else. My personality sells me, my passion to succeed and work ethic.”
Not afraid to show her weakness’ also, she freely admits that she’s not great with business jargon, but “her hard work and life experience will aid her in the process.” She also points out that she has no time for people who “turn their noses up at the working-class demographic.”
Sarah joins the latest set of candidates for the new series of The Apprentice starting October 3rd.
