Strictly Come Dancing : You’ll Never Guess Who Scored What During Week 1

Following the launch show two weeks ago, Strictly Come Dancing began in earnest on Saturday night (22nd September 2018). The celebrities and their professional dancing partners took to the dance floor in the sparkling, sequined, tight-fitting outfits we have all grown to love (or laugh at…).

Having been assigned their dance, and their song, during the preceding weeks, the dancers were ready to show us what they’ve got. Have these early performances given any hints as to who will take home the Glitterball? Let’s find out what the Strictly judges – Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel-Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas – thought:

Lauren Steadman & AJ Pritchard: Dancing the Waltz to the song: I’m Kissing You

Overview: The 25-year-old Paralympic athlete is off to a great start. The judges loved her; Shirley called Lauren a “beautiful princess” and Bruno said Lauren is “still on a winning streak”.

Danny John-Jules & Amy Dowden: Dancing the Foxtrot to the theme song of Top Cat

Joe Sugg & Dianne Buswell: Dancing the Jive to the song Take on Me

Stacey Dooley & Kevin Clifton: Dancing the Quickstep to the song Dancing
