Update: ITV Have confirmed that Dec will not be hosting alone, and rumor has it that Holly Willoughby will be the replacement. We’re not 100% convinced. So we’re still listing it at 6/1 over on The Fame Game App if you want to take a punt.

Following the news that Ant McPartlin is stepping down from his hosting gig on I’m A Celebrity, the rumours as to who might replace him have gone into overdrive.

ITV have confirmed that even though Ant has decided to take the rest of the year off, I’m A Celebrity WILL be back with Declan Donnelly for another instalment of the reality show in November.

So, the big question is, who will be his replacement? Well, it looks like it’ll be a very familiar face. As of now, Queen of the Jungle, Scarlett Moffatt is hotly tipped to be fronting the show with her pal Declan.

The popular Gogglebox star is no stranger to the show and already hosts the shows spin off series Extra Camp live from the Australian jungle, so it’s no surprise that have already given Scarlett odds of 5/6.

As for the other frontrunners in place for the vacant position, Saturday Night Takeaway co-presenter, Stephen Mulhern is also in the running with odds of 2/1.

As well as Scarlett and Stephen, I’m a Celeb runner-up Joel Dommett and 2008 winner Joe Swash are also the mix, and there is even talk of Love Island’s Caroline Flack (6-1) and Keith Lemon (8-1) being in the running for Ant’s job.

Declan Donnelly spoke of his BFF Ant’s decision to leave the show: ‘Whilst I am obviously sad at the thought of being without my best friend in Australia this year, I am proud of the work Ant has been doing privately and I am fully supportive of his decision. I’m looking forward to us both being reunited on screen in 2019.’

The news that Ant has decided not to return to TV comes as both Ant and Dec made the joint decision to pull out of recording a new series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in Spring 2019. The show is slated to return in 2020.

So, will Dec to do it solo?  We’ve got  odds at 3/1 saying he will… What do you think? Go on, have a flutter.
